Think you know the Freedom Trail? Take another look.

Tour of the Freedom Trail offers a fresh, insightful look at Boston and the American story—making it a rewarding experience whether it’s your first visit or you’ve walked the Freedom Trail before. Our engaging guides go beyond the familiar names and famous events to explore the people, conflicts, and ideas that shaped a revolution and a nation.

Re-live the American Revolution while discovering a broader and more inclusive story of early America, including the experiences of enslaved and free Black Bostonians, the struggle for liberty, and the contradictions between the ideals of freedom and the realities of life in colonial America. It’s an opportunity to see familiar landmarks from a new perspective and discover stories you may never have heard before.

Fun and engaging for the whole family, the tour brings history to life through dynamic storytelling while visiting Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel and King’s Chapel Burying Ground, the Boston Latin School site and Benjamin Franklin statue, Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Boston Massacre site, Faneuil Hall, and the Paul Revere House.

More than a walk through historic Boston—it’s a fresh look at the American Revolution and the full American story.
You should expect a full-coverage, unscripted look at the Boston's Revolutionary History with a costumed historical interpreter. The tour will visit all of the historic spots on the Freedom Trail between Boston Common and Paul Revere's North End!

Tripadvisor review: Boston's Best Freedom Trail Tour
Our tour guide was Ben, and he is by far the best tour guide I ever had. He was very enthusiastic about the tour, speaking I'm character and giving us all the facts and laughs. I usually don't do tours, but something about Ben made me want to get on the tour, and I will say, I do not regret this. I highly recommend this tour for everyone and especially Ben to be the tour guide.
